So was it the Loreen show after all?

Depending on whom you talk to in the Eurovision firmament, it was either the worst MF semi final ever this week, or Loreen stole the show.

When the first one minute clip aired midweek, people declared her the one to beat. As photos emerged of the staging – an elaborate trouser press affair – the cries of support grew louder. By Friday morning when rehearsal clips aired, gas and air was needed.

Yes, just like Carola, who also performed to “celebrate” her forty-year anniversary in show business, and what a star she has been – arguably – the bigger news was that the deposed queen of the ESC250 was back in the Melodifestivalen with her (multi-authored) song “Tattoo”.

Would the Swedish public just wave her through to the final? Well, duh! The results are below …

Although there wqs a bit of controversy with a stage invader stopping Loreen’s first run through (Wanker – you dont do that to ANY performer) meaning the hosts had to fill wildly for six minutes. Aftonbladet reported the invader was a climate protester from Forskare från Lund.
