Uno – El Slapstevan

I note that my editor-in-chief is being offensive and rude again. That didn’t take long. I think he’s upset because we’ve been given some dinky little colouring pencils in the delegation bag instead of a Finnish kaleidoscope.

Meanwhile, the screens in the press centre are improving steadily – Keith of AKOE is already giving us some excellent feedback, and my ears are just starting to hurt a bit as a result. It’s Testcard F without the Testcard.

Meanwhile, regular sufferers of the blog will be unhappy to learn that all four team members have successfully negotiated the accreditation desk – I proved to be hard work, but then I always do.

The press working area, for those of us who are known to the Chamber of Commerce *cough*, is gorgeous. It’s a feast of slightly battered wooden desks, slightly battered leather office chairs, and a batch of computers which can probably expect to be slightly battered by the end of the week.

Apart from the fact that I can’t actually hear Montenegro’s Steve McPhillips in action, it’s all proving to be terribly easy this year so far…!
