Time for what I suspect is going to be the big lad in a big leather coat … and that’s not ended well in recent years.
The song itself starts out fine. Isaak is in great voice, but boy, does it run out of ideas fast. Repetitive in the extreme.
If you can imagine ‘Eye of the Tiger’ mixed (badly) with ‘Life in a Northern Town’, then you’ve got ‘Always on the run’.
If this were played at a school disco, the kids would stop dancing and demand to know where the teachers stashed the hooky vodka.
