Romania will send Andrei Ursu, aka WRS to Turin for the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest.
Selecția Națională 2022 was the national final organised by TVR to select Romania’s entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2022.
The competition has included two shows: a semi-final featuring twenty songs and tonight’s final featuring ten songs. The winner was decided after votes from an expert panel and televoters were combined.

Romania has been placed into the second semi-final, to be held on 12 May 2022, and has been scheduled to perform in the second half of the show.

The final included performances from several Eurovision 2022 acts: Intelligent Music Project, representing Bulgaria; Zdob și Zdub & Frații Advahov, representing Moldova; Vladana, representing Montenegro; Andrea, representing North Macedonia; Ronela Hajati, representing Albania; We Are Domi, representing the Czech Republic; and Stefan, representing Estonia.
In addition, Ukrainian Eurovision 2016 winner Jamala performed her winning song “1944” to an emotional ovation.
