Jérémie Makiese releases Belgian Eurovision song

Jérémie Makiese

Jérémie Makiese will represent Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin with ‘Miss you’.

The singer from Uccle won The Voice Belgique 2021 and is now on his way to compete in one of the world’s biggest music competitions.

Jérémie was born to Congolese parents in Antwerp, Belgium. At 6 years old he and his family (including his three brothers and sister) moved to Berchem-Sainte-Agathe, then to Dilbeek a few years later, and finally settled in Uccle. The town is a bilingual municipality found in the capital of Brussels. Jérémie learnt to speak both Dutch and French from an early age.

It’s a busy day in Eurovision today. Next up, the UK reveal of this year’s worst-kept secret. This afternoon, we’re going Greek.
