Russia did well at Eurovision. Often with songs that might be laughed off stage if presented by other nations. That said, they used to chuck some serious Roubles at the show and took it more seriously than others (cough, BBC). Russia quit the EBU in 2022, and for now, that means we’ll not be seeing them at Eurovision.
