I’m posting this little prediction based on one rough and ready tech run-through where SVT and EBU servers fell over, throwing each and every one of us entitled fans out of our sacred live stream. I was way too attached to a pizza last night to watch the ‘jury’ show where the juries no longer vote, so there’s every chance I’m as wide of the mark as it’s possible to get.
The ‘Serviette of Doom’ is the OnEurope way of predicting ten qualifiers, scribbled on the back of a fag packet or a paper napkin to preserve our failings.
So here we go for the second semifinal of the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest.

What about you guys, both of our regular readers. Who do you reckon has the full package to make it to Saturday and share the stage with a ‘top secret’ interval act.
Apparently I’m not allowed to edit the post (which is probably sensible), but with science, magic and guessing I’ve got a top ten of Greece, Switzerland, Denmark, Armenia, San Marino, Belgium, Estonia, Israel, Norway, Netherlands (The).
Whoever I exclude from Denmark, Georgia and Austria just looks wrong, and nobody seems to be totally out of it, so maybe one of the others in my 10 is not as persuasive as I think they are.
My prediction:
Albania 🇦🇱
Greece 🇬🇷
Switzerland 🇨🇭
Denmark 🇩🇰
Armenia 🇦🇲
Georgia 🇬🇪
Belgium 🇧🇪
Israel 🇮🇱
Norway 🇳🇴
Netherlands 🇳🇱
I can vote in this semi, you shouldn’t be surprise who I am voting for🤫🤭🫢👍
