So after seemingly months and months of national finals, and you thought that the end of it was near, the Eurovision gods spring one last late night surprise to tickle your fancy this season.
Festival da Cancao, now in its 56th Edition and its 60th year, had two semi-finals, you can read about Semi One or Semi Two if you choose to. This nearly four-hour spectacular was hosted by Filomena and Vaco, as the other two had been, and in a weird televoting situation that was open throughout the week before the final – presumable to ensure that the phone lines don’t get clogged up on the night.
The result was a combined Jury and televote affair with the regional juries votes turned onto 1-8, 10 and 12 before that week long televote was converted to the same. Added up the results were:
